A mom writes in asking for advice about car seats. She is wondering if she should be required to buy additional car seats for her parents, her children’s grandparents, who watch the children sometimes. Is this mom obligated to buy those additional car seats herself, or should her parents buy their own car seats for their grandkids?
A mom writes in asking for advice about her 5-month-old son. She says he has recently started screaming every time she tries to put him in the car. She wonders if it is perhaps due to the stay-at-home order currently in place in her state, which has kept them pretty much housebound, making this car thing relatively new to her son. Regardless, she is looking for advice about how to get the screaming to stop.
Our hearts go out to one couple in Mandan, North Dakota who experienced a tragic loss. After seven years of infertility, Rachel and Ryne Jungling were thrilled to learn that they were expecting twins in 2017. Rachel gave birth to the beautiful babies, Anders and Linnea. Just 11 months later a heartbreaking tragedy occurred when baby boy Anders suddenly passed away while napping in his car seat.
When do you go up a car seat? My baby will be 1 in a few months so I’m trying to get ready for the changes. What age is normally the age you go up a car seat? Also what kind do you recommend? Thank you. Anonymous Community MemberThis question was asked by a Facebook community member who has asked to remain anonymous.
My son is 9 months and very long. He’s out of his bucket seat and i to a rear facing one but it seems like he doesn’t have enough leg room. Legs are always crossed and awkward looking. I might be weird but I’m concerned about circulation and his comfort. Is there such thing as an extender to give him more leg room? And if so which ones are the best?He technically fits the requirements of forward facing except for the fact he’s not a year yet. But obviously i don’t want to turn him around yet. Just looking for recommendations/advice. Thanks! Anonymous Community MemberThis question was asked by a Facebook community member who has asked to remain anonymous.
