Tammy Slaton Makes Devastating Announcement About Her Beloved Husband

Less than one year after getting married, Tammy Slaton is making a devastating announcement regarding her husband.

In an exclusive statement shared with People, Tammy Slaton revealed that her beloved husband, Caleb Willingham, has passed away. He was just 40 years old.

“I am devastated to share the news of my husband’s passing,” she shared in her statement to People. “He was my best friend and I loved him dearly.”

“When I met Caleb he became my guardian angel and now he really is watching over me. Our families appreciate everyone’s sympathy and ask that you respect our privacy at this time,” she concluded her statement.

Slaton shared photos of her and Caleb’s special day back in November 2022. The couple met while spending time at the Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center.

Caleb’s death comes just months after Tammy showed off her recent weight loss. In April, Tammy shared photos of herself which her followers praised!

“Gotta admit Tammy, you proved a whole lot of us wrong,” one person commented. “Way to go & keep it up!”

“Omg Tammy you look amazing!” one commenter wrote. “And no more trach! I have cried on every episode this season! You freakin did it girl! I am so proud of you!”

As Mamas Uncut previously reported, in a recent episode of My 1000-lb. Life, Slaton revealed she reached her weight loss target going from 717 lbs. to 534 lbs.; something she needed to do in order to qualify for weight loss surgery.

“When I got on the scale and I saw the scale was at 534.7, I kinda stopped breathing for a second,” Slaton said during an episode that aired in early February. “I’m like 14 lbs. under my goal weight. From over 700, that’s a huge drop.”

“I’m feeling thrilled, proud, excited — just all the emotions,” she said at the time. “I proved everybody wrong. Everybody that doubted me, I finally got mine! My told-you-so moment!”
