HGTV Stars Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae Welcome First Child Together: “Our Baby Boy Is Here”

Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae El Moussa took to Instagram on February 2 to announce the birth of their first child together. The couple shared a photo of their baby boy being held by his parents’, but no name was given and no baby face was shown – both of which are sure to be revealed at a later time.

The pregnancy announcement came in July 2022, at which point they revealed they had a son on the way in 2023. The baby boy was conceived through IVF and the couple has been open about the possibility of adding more children in the future. For now, they’re going to enjoy the time they have with this one.

Tarek El Moussa first met Heather Rae in 2019 while boating separately in Newport, CA and they started dating shortly after. Tarek popped the big question in July 2020 and they got married on October 23, 2021. Their relationship comes just a year after Tarek’s divorce from Christina Hall was finalized.

While this is the couple’s first child together, it’s not the only child they have running around the house. Tarek El Moussa already shares two children with Christina Hall – a daughter, Taylor, born in 2010 and a son, Brayden, born in 2015. Heather Rae El Moussa takes her role as a stepmother very seriously.

In an interview with Us Weekly, Tarek opened up about becoming a father for the third time, adding it’s just as exciting as the first time. He described his wife as a ‘rockstar’ throughout the labor process and confirmed his baby boy was doing ‘amazing.’ Not only that, but his other two kids are just as ecstatic.

“We are on cloud 9 and soaking in all of the snuggles and bonding with our little guy as an official family of 5. My heart has grown even bigger and I’m feeling like the luckiest guy on the planet,” said Tarek to Us Weekly, calling it ‘truly a special moment’ for him and his family. Now they just need a little bit of rest.

In the hours since the reveal, friends and colleagues took to the comments section to wish the couple all the best in their new chapter together. One comment, which surprised a lot of fans, came from Ant Anstead – a fellow ex-husband of Christina Hall. “HUGE congratulations you guys! ❤️” Anstead wrote.
