Don’t be scared by the size of this bed. When deflated, it packs up into a small bag and can fit pretty easily into a suitcase (depending on what else you’ve packed!). We like this bed for a few reasons: 1) It keeps your kid out of your bed — key in our opinion! — and 2) easily inflates and deflates within minutes, making it quick to set up and take down. Most toddlers LOVE getting a special bed all to themselves and while we can’t promise they’ll stay in it, you know that when they do, the raised sides will keep them safe. Bonus: you don’t need special sheets for it (any toddler crib sheets will work) and the waterproof topper ensures accidents aren’t a problem.
BEST BUMPER RAILS

If you have an extra bed, or you don’t mind sharing yours, these inflatable bed rails, invented at Stanford University, are a simple solution for keeping your child securely in bed overnight. Once inflated, you can place them under a fitted sheet or a tightly tucked in top sheet. If they get dirty, simply remove the covers, wash and replace.
