Tori Roloff Reveals Scary Health Emergency that Landed Zach Roloff in Emergency Brain Surgery

Tori Roloff has taken to Instagram to share more information about a scary situation her husband, Zach Roloff, found himself in. According to Tori, Zach had an unexpected turn in his health they didn’t exactly see coming.

Alongside a photo of Zach laying in a hospital bed with his head completely wrapped in white bandages, Tori began her statement by saying this was “not exactly how we saw our week going.”

Tori continued, revealing that “Zachary had emergency shunt revision” on the morning of February 9. “It’s been a scary 72 hours, but he is doing well and recovering!!”

What Tori didn’t divulge to the public is what ultimately led to this emergency surgery. Thankfully, Zach is now recovering post a seemingly successful surgery.

“Thank you so much to everyone for the prayers that you have covered us in. We feel them! We are so incredibly blessed by our neurosurgeon team and their attentiveness to Zach’s needs! Thank you to our friends and family who have all reached out asking to help. We feel so loved and supported by you.”

Tori continued by shouting out her mother-in-law, Amy Roloff, who rushed to care for Zach and Tori’s three children while they were in the hospital. “Also, shout out to @amyjroloff for holding down the fort and playing hide n seek for who knows how many hours.”

She then concluded by sending a message directly to her husband. “I’m here praying that Zach’s recovery is quick and easy and that this will be our answered prayers to relieving his migraines! You’re a freaking badass, Zach. You just had brain surgery… and handled it like a rockstar. I’m so proud of you. Jeremiah 17:14.”

As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Tori and Zach have a big celebration coming up in April when their youngest son, Josiah Luke, turns 1 on the 30th. They also share a 5-year-old son Jackson and a 2-year-old daughter, Lilah.

Following Josiah’s birth, fans were curious if Josiah was like his father and his two older siblings. In an interview with People, Tori confirmed that all three of their children have dwarfism, like their father.

“They are slightly obsessed with him, and it’s adorable,” Tori said of her two oldest children. “They’re just both very concerned about where he is, what he is doing. They take turns feeding him the bottle and want to bring him blankies and binkies.”

In an update shared on Instagram, Tori celebrated Josiah’s first month of life with an adorable picture of her little man. She revealed that Josiah is a big eater and is starting to love bath time.

The proud mom also alluded to Jackson and Lilah’s love for him, saying he is “so tolerant to their exuberant attention.” And if there is room for improvement, Tori admits she wishes he would sleep a little bit more at night.

“Nights aren’t the best, but mom is trying really hard to enjoy every moment and consume extra coffee,” Tori wrote. “We have LOVED getting to know and love this kid, and I really do thank God every day He chose us to be his parents!”

While talking with People, Tori admitted that while she’ll “never say never,” she and Zach are likely done having children. “I’d never say never because already I can’t believe that those first few days are already over.”

“This one’s been more emotional this time just because I went into it with the mindset that this is most likely our last baby,” Tori continued. “It just changes your outlook on the hospital and your time spent there. We’ve always had the best nurses and doctors.”

“And so it’s just sad to think that, ‘Oh, we’re probably not going to be back in this situation ever. We’re done with this part of our life.’ And now we get to just enjoy our three babies,” Tori revealed. “Never say never, but I think I’m saying never.”
