Tori Spelling Reveals the Devastating Reason Her Children Have Been Sick for Months

As Tori Spelling’s children continue to deal with unidentified health issues, the mom of five revealed they are finally starting to get some answers.

On May 10, several months after she spent countless days in the ER with her children, Spelling took to Instagram again to share an update. In the post, the mom revealed her children have been sick for months.

“Here we are again at Urgent Care,” Spelling began alongside a photo of them in a hospital room. “We’ve all been on this continual spiral of sickness for months. Sick. Get better. To get sick again. Used to think… well that’s what happens when you have young kids in school. They just continually bring sicknesses home.”

But now Spelling knows that’s not what has been happening to her family. “when it gets to the point where they are at home sick more than being in school we had to reassess what was going on. Kids will be kids but when you have your youngest (10 and 6) so sick they are sleeping all day and say they feel dizzy even standing I knew something bigger was going on,” Spelling continued.

Turns out, it was hidden mold that had been causing Spelling’s kids to feel sick for months on end. “Enter Mold inspection,” Spelling wrote. “Thx to Sean at Pacific Scope Inspections who came out and discovered extreme mold in our home ????.”

“The pieces all started to fall into place. Has anyone ever been thru Mold Infections? You just keep getting sick, one infection after another. Respiratory infections. Extreme allergy like symptoms too and like my poor Finn skin rashes as well. As we sit here today in Urgent Care … watching everyone getting swabbed and first up Finn with Strep throat ✅and high fever of 103. We now know that when the house was labeled a health hazard and not live able that wording was FACT. We now GET IT!”

Now Spelling is trying to figure out what to do next. For now, the family is looking for a temporary home to live in while they get the mold infestation figured out. “It’s hard to just uproot a huge family, especially in the midst of all feeling so sick and in bed. But, we now will vacate the home asap. Looking for an @airbnb or @vrbo or hotel till we can even grasp what to do,” she explained.

“We are just renters so looks like moving is in our eminent future as well. Grateful we have renters insurance. We’d be lost how to tackle this without. And, special non shout out to our public school district for repeatedly not believing our kids were as sick as they’ve been continually. Just get them in school right ????? Has anyone been thru Mold sickness? The deeper dive I do online sadly I see how common this is.”

As Mamas Uncut previously reported, it’s been a difficult start to the year for the Spelling and McDermott family. Just days after revealing her daughter was admitted to the ER with a devastating migraine, Tori Spelling is now revealing that her son, Liam, 15, has also been admitted to the hospital.

According to Tori, her son was experiencing the same thing as her daughter Stella did, a severe and debilitating migraine. “This morning at the hospital with our youngest and now tonight at ER with one of our oldest…” she wrote on her Instagram Story, sharing a photo of Liam’s hospital wristband.

“Poor @liammcdermott2007 viral infection triggered severe migraine and neck pain,” Spelling continued. “He’s my stoic one. Never seen him in this much pain in his life.”

As Tori further revealed, her youngest child, Beau Dean, was only born with one kidney and as a result has to have routine renal scans done because it “doesn’t completely empty.” Tori thanked the Children’s Hospital of LA for their “amazing care! The kindness, patience, nurturing, and love go beyond. Grateful.”

As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Spelling is opened up more about her daughter, Stella’s sudden illness. In a statement shared on her Instagram Story, Spelling revealed that her daughter was diagnosed with a form of a migraine that presents symptoms similar to a stroke. She called the situation “terrifying.”

“I wanted to thank everyone for all the well wishes for Stella. She is home and feeling much better. At the ER she was diagnosed with a Hemiplegic Migraine. It’s a condition that affects one side of the body. Signs of a hemiplegic migraine attack are similar to what would be present in a stroke that typically includes sudden severe headache on one side of the brain, weakness, numbness on one half the body.”

Tori continued, writing, “It can be terrifying if you don’t know what’s happening or about this type of Migraine. As a migraine sufferer my entire life I had no idea about this. Grateful to everyone at the ER. They were amazing and took great loving care of her.”

This all comes after Tori shared a statement with her fans on her personal Instagram account revealing that she had also been hospitalized.

On her Instagram story, Spelling revealed that she’s been in the hospital since December 20. “To all of you who gaslit me when you were told I [was] too sick to work, well here I am,” she wrote.

Spelling continued by saying that doctors are “running a battery of tests” on her after she began experiencing a myriad of symptoms, including having a “hard time breathing, high blood pressure, and crazy dizziness.” She added that her number one priority is to get better so that she can get home to her five kids she shares with Dean McDermott.

“How about next time [you] take someone at face value and show kindness instead of doubtfulness,” Spelling said, addressing the haters. “Remember, for people like me, NOT working is a nightmare. I’m a hustler and a workaholic. I always choose work.”

We hope the Spelling family finds a safe place to live as they work on becoming healthy again. So scary.
