Tori Spelling Opens Up for the First Time Since Her Husband of 18 Years Announced Their Separation and Then Deleted the Statement

Tori Spelling is seemingly opening up about her separation from her husband nearly a month after Dean McDermott strangely announced their separation on social media and then deleted the statement moments later.

As of now, neither Tori nor Dean has addressed the deleted statement. However, Tori is sharing the things that make her happy on her Instagram Story, none of which included her husband of 18 years.

As Mamas Uncut previously reported, the deleted statement read, “It’s with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that Tori Spelling and I have decided to go our separate ways and start a new journey of our own,” he wrote alongside photographs of himself and Spelling and their kids.

“We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time,” he continued. “We ask that you all respect our privacy as we take this time to surround our family with love and work our way through this. Thank you all for your support and kindness.”

While Tori hasn’t talked about the statement, she is now sharing images of her friends, her dogs, her children, her mom Candy Spelling, and more. This is the first time Spelling has returned to social media since the statement was made.

“Things that make me happy,” she wrote before sharing more than a dozen photos.

Some of those photos showcased her family, including her mom, Candy Spelling, who promised to support her daughter through her alleged divorce.

And her kids, one of which also mentioned rainbows, revealing it makes her happy “knowing rainbows can occur even during the darkest of times.”

As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Spelling and her children have been dealing with a myriad of health issues over the last year. On May 10, several months after she spent countless days in the ER with her children, Spelling took to Instagram again to share an update. In the post, the mom revealed her children have been sick for months.

“Here we are again at Urgent Care,” Spelling began along side a photo of them in a hospital room. “We’ve all been on this continual spiral of sickness for months. Sick. Get better. To get sick again. Used to think… well that’s what happens when you have young kids in school. They just continually bring sicknesses home.”

But now Spelling knows that’s not what has been happening to her family. “when it gets to the point where they are at home sick more than being in school we had to reassess what was going on. Kids will be kids but when you have your youngest (10 and 6) so sick they are sleeping all day and say they feel dizzy even standing I knew something bigger was going on,” Spelling continued.

Turns out, it was hidden mold that had been causing Spelling’s kids to feel sick for months on end. “Enter Mold inspection,” Spelling wrote. “Thx to Sean at Pacific Scope Inspections who came out and discovered extreme mold in our home ????.”

“The pieces all started to fall into place. Has anyone ever been thru Mold Infections? You just keep getting sick, one infection after another. Respiratory infections. Extreme allergy like symptoms too and like my poor Finn skin rashes as well. As we sit here today in Urgent Care … watching everyone getting swabbed and first up Finn with Strep throat ✅and high fever of 103. We now know that when the house was labeled a health hazard and not live able that wording was FACT. We now GET IT!”

Now Spelling is trying to figure out what to do next. For now, the family is looking for a temporary home to live in while they get the mold infestation figured out. “It’s hard to just uproot a huge family especially in midst of all feeling so sick and in bed. But, we now will vacate the home asap. Looking for an @airbnb or @vrbo or hotel till we can even grasp what to do,” she explained.

“We are just renters so looks like moving is in our eminent future as well. Grateful we have renters insurance. We’d be lost how to tackle this without. And, special non shout out to our public school district for repeatedly not believing our kids were as sick as they’ve been continually. Just get them in school right ????? Has anyone been thru Mold sickness? The deeper dive I do online sadly I see how common this is.”
