Tori Roloff is proud of her man after Zach Roloff broke a pretty impressive world record. Those who are a fan of TLC’s Little People, Big World are already aware that Zach Roloff enjoys being active, and his favorite sport is soccer.
The father-of-two has played soccer his whole life and still does. But as Tori’s followers have come to learn not too long ago, Zach has recently been sitting his cleats aside and opting for a pair of gym shoes as he has taken up weightlifting.
And if Tori’s recent Instagram post is any indication, he’s pretty dang good at it! In the video, you can see Tori and their two kiddos, Jackson and Lilah, cheering Zach on as he worked his way up to world record weight.
Zach Roloff Breaks Unofficial World Record After Squatting 3-Times His Weight
First, he successfully squatted, 355 pounds, then 370, then 382, before pushing himself to try 390, which is three times his body weight. And he successfully squatted 390 pounds as well!
As Tori revealed, Zach weighs only 123, which means he set an unofficial record. “He has been working so hard with @peakptlo to reach his peak,” Tori said on Instagram.
Zach Roloff Took Up Lifting to Be a Better Father
“Today he set an unofficial record of 390 pounds squat!! Wow. I am so proud of my man. So impressive. I can’t even lift the bar.” Tori went on to say that Zach ultimately decided to take up weightlifting so that he could be more effective as a father.
“He started with the goal of being able to pick up his kids more easily,” Tori explained, “and now he can pick up 11 Jackson’s at once. Love you, babe, uh! Congrats!” How amazing is that?
And their followers were very impressed as well. “It’s the way your son looks at his daddy for me,” one commenter wrote.
“The inspiration and the fire he has is truly inspiring!! Also legit loving you & your little ones fueling it cheering him on. Now that is #Goals,” someone else added.
“Wow!! Way to go! That’s amazing,” a third person wrote.
So impressive! Way to go, Zach!
