Earlier this week, one of our fellow Mamas Uncut community members asked other moms what they wanted for Mother’s Day this year. She had mentioned that when her husband asked her what she wanted this year, she had no idea what to say, adding that she rarely ever does anything for herself.
So to help her come up with some gift ideas, she asked other moms what they were asking for, or at least hoping to receive on May 9, and oh, did the moms in our community deliver. While many of the mothers admitted that they often order the things they want for themselves, a good amount of moms said they just hope for a day off or a date night at a nice restaurant.

“My answer to this every year is, ‘I don’t wanna clean, I don’t wanna cook, and I want a full body massage,'” one mom commented. “Forget buying me anything, just rub my back and make me food.”
However, for those moms who did actually ask for a tangible item that can be purchased at a store or online, we created a list to help husbands, dads, and kids find those items that will make Mother’s Day all that more special.
So here are 6 gifts that moms are hoping to receive this Mother’s Day:
Starting at $24.78 at the time of publication
“I ordered myself a canvased sign depicting the dates of my children’s birth.” How sweet is that?
Starting at $33.60 at the time of publication
“I’d love a mother’s ring,” one mom wrote. “I don’t have one yet.” This is actually part of the Mother’s Day gift I’m putting together for my own mom! It really is beautiful and perfect for every day wear.
$24.99 at the time of publication
“I can’t really go anywhere or do anything this year because I’m 32 weeks pregnant and have been on bed rest since 17 weeks, trying to keep this stubborn child in. I thought about asking for a French press because I’ve seen some on sale and have always been curious about them and if they do in fact make superior coffee over the coffee pot.”
$17.10 at the time of publication
“I want like a personalized tumbler or shirt or something that says ‘mama’ and has my girls’ names on it as well! It doesn’t have to be much, but it’s the meaning of the item. But I think my husband and I are doing a little picnic with our girls for Mother’s Day,” a proud mom wrote.
$69.99 at the time of publication
“I want a weather pod for the softball field.” Even when this mom is supposed to be thinking of herself, she’s thinking of herself cheering on her kid!
$76.50 at the time of publication
“I told my husband I want a breast milk ring made with my breast milk and he is also taking me to brunch because we are both in our friend’s wedding the day before and we will be checking out of our hotel Mother’s Day morning so we won’t have our 2 kids then I’ll get to spend the rest of the day with my kids.”
So if you’re not prepared for Mother’s Day yet, now there is no excuse! So if your mom is like any of these other moms, then these gifts will be perfect for her! Happy Mother’s Day, to all the mom figures out there! Thank you for all that you do.
