The 911 Call Reporting a ‘Domestic Dispute’ Between Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie Released

Earlier on September 20, it was revealed that the FBI had raided Brian Laundrie’s parents’ house, which is also where Laundrie and Gabby Petito lived prior to their cross-country trip. It’s been reported that Laundrie’s parents have since been removed from their home as it has been declared a crime scene.

Now, the 911 that was made on August 12 that led to the body camera footage of Gabby Petito in tears has been made public, Fox News reported. As Mamas Uncut previously reported, following the 911 call Petito and Laundrie were pulled over in Moab, Utah.

While talking to police officers, both Gabby had admitted to hitting and distracting Laundrie while driving. And when asked if Brian hit her she said that while he grabbed her face, he didn’t hit her.

However, the 911 caller said they saw otherwise. At the beginning of the call, the caller said they wanted to report a “domestic dispute.”

The 911 caller further said that when they drove by “the gentleman was slapping the girl.” As the 911 caller continued to say that when they stopped, the couple “continued to run up and down the sidewalk, he proceeded to hit her” before getting back in their white van and driving off.

Eventually, after the police talked with Gabby and Brian for over an hour, the police recommend that they separate for the night. And they did.

Brian went to a hotel and Gabby stayed with their van. It’s unclear exactly when the couple reunited.

Sadly, on September 19, eight days after Gabby Petito was officially reported missing, a body that match the description of the 22-year-old was discovered near a campsite in Wyoming. According to the FBI, a “full forensic identification has not been completed to confirm 100% that we found Gabby, but her family has been notified.”

Brian has also since disappeared. He has been labeled as a person of interest in this case.

The authorities are still looking for Laundrie. And an autopsy has been scheduled for September 21.

The last time Gabby Petito’s parents verbally talked to her was on August 25. According to her parents, they received several text messages from Gabby’s phone but admitted that they weren’t convinced those texts were actually sent by Gabby.

All communication from Gabby’s phone stopped on August 30. On September 1, Laundrie reportedly returned to Florida in the van the couple had modified for their vacation. He was later pulled over on September 11 while driving the van.
