Now, the paycheck they received for filming their reunion episode for HBO has been revealed and the amount may knock your socks off. According to E! However, much like the co-stars did in the past to negotiate those hefty paychecks, they created a united front and declined the million while negotiating for more. As Business Insider reports, since the third season of the show, Aniston, Cox, Kudrow, Leblanc, Perry, and Schwimmer negotiated their contracts together, to ensure that each of them was on equal playing fields.

And even though it’s been 17 years since the show aired, when they were approached for a reunion episode, the co-stars reportedly stuck together again and managed to negotiate quite a deal before agreeing to film. According to E! News, each of the six actors took home a whopping $2.5 million for the hour-and-a-half episode.

Wow! That’s a lot of money!

According to reports, during the show’s first two seasons, it was Aniston and Schwimmer who made the most money. But it was also them who believed that each of the six of them played an important role in making the show what it was, and made sure each of them was on level playing fields in terms of their contracts for the remaining seasons.

Now that is something! Have you watched the reunion yet? What is your favorite Friends memory?
