Owen Wilson’s Ex-Girlfriend Admits He’s Never Met His 3-Year-Old Daughter

Owen Wilson‘s ex-girlfriend, Varunie Vongsvirates, alleges Wilson has never met his three-year-old daughter, Lyla Vongsvirates.

And according to Varunie, Wilson has no plans to, despite begging her 52-year-old ex to be in their daughter Lyla’s life.

Apparently, Wilson is “not involved at all” with his daughter and has “never” met her. However, in 2019, the mother revealed that he does makes a monetary contribution to her life. “He helps financially but it’s never been about that,” Varunie explained to the Daily Mail at the time.

She added: “Lyla needs a father. It’s ironic how [Owen] keeps getting these father roles, he’s playing a father in his new movie, and he’s never met his own daughter.”

Recently, Varunie shared a photo of Lyla in honor of her birthday. “Happy third birthday to my wild child,” she captioned the photo. “I love you so much!!!”

“He has never met her, unfortunately,” she revealed on Monday.

Owen was with Varunie for five years before they parted ways. And in 2018, Varunie and Owen went through a paternity test confirm that the little girl is his.

After the pair went to court, Owen reportedly “checked the no visitation box” and stated that he didn’t want “any custody” of Lyla according to a source who previously spoke with Us Weekly about the case.

Varunie gave birth on October 9, 2018 without Owen. Reportedly, Owen does have contact with his two other children.

His oldest, is Robert, 10, whom he shares with Jade Duell. He also has a 7-year-old named Finn, whom he shares with his on-and-off girlfriend, Caroline Lindqvist.

During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote his 2017 film Cars 3, Owen spoke on first two children. His nickname for Robert is “Ford.”

“It’s unbelievable. I mean, anything Ford says is just, like, the funniest thing ever, and I can make and joke and it’s, like, crickets. It’s like nothing from those guys.”

“I’m already sort of seeing how they’re gonna be as teenagers, where they’re gonna be sort of be ganging up on me.”

He said: “We went to Sequoia National Park, and they have the biggest tree in the world. I’m like: ‘Guys, this is the biggest tree in the world,’ and Ford’s like: ‘I’ve seen bigger.'”

“And I’m like: ‘Well, no, Ford, actually you haven’t seen bigger. This is – this is the General Sherman tree. This is the biggest tree.’ And he’s like: ‘If you say so.'”

“And I’m like: ‘No, it’s not if I say so! There’s the plaque right here! And he’s like: ‘I can’t read.'”
