A beloved actor and rising star best known for his roles in Gen V and the After franchise has passed at the age of 27.
According to reports, Chance Perdomo passed away suddenly on March 30. As Chance’s rep revealed in a statement given to People, the 27-year-old died following a tragic motorcycle accident.
No other people were involved in the fatal crash.
“His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will carry on in those who he loved dearest. We ask to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother.”
The producers of Gen V also issued a statement after learning about Chance Perdomo’s passing to People.
“We can’t quite wrap our heads around this. For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person.”
The statement continued, reading, “Even writing about him in the past tense doesn’t make sense. We are so sorry for Chance’s family, and we are grieving the loss of our friend and colleague. Hug your loved ones tonight.”
Chance Perdomo last posted to his official Instagram account just two days ago. The photos showed Chance in a gym.
“Haven’t started. Already exhausted. Whatever it takes, I guess,” he wrote.
