Actress Angie Harmon is sharing devastating information about her Easter weekend.
In an Instagram post shared on April 1, Harmon revealed a “man delivering groceries for Instacart shot & killed” their dog, “our precious Oliver.”
As Harmon continued, she claimed the Instacart delivery man “got out of his car, delivered the food, and THEN shot our dog. Our ring camera was charging in the house, which he saw and then knew he wasn’t being recorded.”
Harmon said the police were called but “let him go because he claimed ‘self defense.’ He did not have a scratch or bite on him nor were his pants torn.”
According to Harmon, the man was shopping under someone else’s identity, “a woman named Merle.” Harmon said she and her daughters were at home when the nightmare unfolded.
“He shot our dog…and just kept saying, ‘yeah, I shot your dog. Yeah I did,’” Harmon continued, adding her family is “completely traumatized and beyond devastated.”
Heartbreaking.
In a statement shared with TMZ, Instacart said, “We were deeply saddened and disturbed to hear about this incident. We have no tolerance for violence of any kind.” Instacart claims the driver were suspended from the platform.
