10 Times Jennifer Garner Proved She’s the Ultimate Inspiration for Moms

Jennifer Garner was recently featured on the cover of People’s Beautiful Issue, a well-deserved accolade that honors her beauty, both inside and out. We can’t think of a more fitting way to acknowledge her as a constant source of mom inspiration, because nobody moms like Jennifer Garner moms.

Garner is well-known for her TV and film appearances, as well as for her marriage to Ben Affleck, but it’s her ability to balance being a mom to three (Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, 7), running a company (Once Upon a Farm), volunteering (Save the Children), cooking delicious meals, crafting, and managing to navigate the choppy waters of ex-husbands with grace that really makes her the ultimate mom-spiration.

Let us recount the ways in which Garner fills us with joy, inspiration, pride, and a whole bunch of other warm-and-fuzzies on the daily.

She and her friends joined A Sense of Home to design a house for a mother in need:

In addition to her role as an ambassador for Save the Children, Garner frequently volunteers to help those in need. Recently, she worked with A Sense of Home, a non-profit organization that creates homes for youth who have aged out of the foster care system. Garner and her friends worked with the organization to furnish and decorate a home for Fatima and her kids.

Garner may have played Sydney Bristow on Alias, but she’s just as much of a badass boss in real life:

Garner is co-founder and Chief Branding Officer of Once Upon a Farm, a company that produces organic, cold-pressed blends from fruits and vegetables grown on Garner’s century-old family farm. Once Upon a Farm is committed to being the first fresh baby food to be accepted by the WIC program and USDA’s special supplemental nutrition program. You can find more about their products and mission here.

She always has the words to make things better:

Everyone loves a good inspirational quote, and Garner frequently shares them on a felt board via her Instagram feed. We find them just as encouraging and inspiring as her own family does!

Garner is a Pinterest board come to life:

If there’s one thing we can glean from Garner’s Instagram, it’s that she goes all out for holidays and birthday celebrations. There are frequently costumes, crafting, or elaborate cakes involved. It’s hard not to be motivated by her infectious holiday spirit – even if our own costumes and cakes look a little less perfect than hers.

But she also keeps it real:

As we all know, sometimes baked goods don’t end up looking quite like the photographs in recipes. In this case, Garner attempted to make cinnamon bread men for Pi Day, but they ended up looking more like they had a run-in with the mafia. But she owned it, and that is beyond inspirational.

She a proud mom who shows off her kids’ artwork and projects:

Having three children, Garner surely receives a lot of artwork and handmade items from her little ones. The best part is that she’s not afraid to show them off for the world to see. We love that she shared photos of her son’s humorous note and her daughter’s handmade scarf.

She’s not afraid to get her silly on:

Many schools have a 100-Day celebration in which the kids are encouraged to dress up as different characters. Garner took this idea to the next level and dressed up as Zero the Hero to commemorate the day. Nailed it!

She’s a pro (and an inspiration) in the kitchen:

Garner is frequently spotted in her kitchen whipping up something delicious for parties, friends, or family meals. She’s got a stack of cookbooks that are taller than she is and often pulls her favorite recipes to share with fans. For example: this Spicy, Garlicky Cashew spread from The New York Times.

She’s not afraid to poke fun at herself:

Paparazzi sometimes catch Garner is not-so-flattering poses, as in this photo of her sneezing. (For the second time publicly, apparently.) Luckily, she doesn’t let it phase her and sometimes posts the hilarious photos with a silly caption. Letting stuff roll off your shoulders is always a good lesson for moms and for everyone.

She co-parents in style:

After finalizing her divorce from Ben Affleck last year, Garner has frequently been spotted on family outings with her ex-husband and their children. She was also seen standing by his side when he re-entered rehab last year. Co-parenting is hard, and Garner has a knack for doing it with grace. Stuff like this is so inspiring that it really makes us believe we can handle any tricky situation. And so, to reiterate, nobody moms like Jennifer Garner moms.
