Amber Alert Issued for 2-Day-Old Baby Girl After Her Mother Was Discovered Shot to Death

Tennessee authorities are searching for a 2-day-old baby girl in Memphis. According to reports an Amber Alert has been issued for the infant after her mother was found dead on February 1.

As the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation reveals, authorities discovered an abandoned vehicle near Levi Road. Near the vehicle was the body of 27-year-old Danielle Hoyle, the infant’s mother. 

According to the Amber Alert, the infant was given the name Kennedy Hoyle. Kennedy was last seen with Danielle but was not found anywhere near the abandoned vehicle. 

Authorities say Danielle had been shot to death and now they are concerned for Kennedy’s safety. Family members say the last they knew Danielle was taking Kennedy to receive her shots. 

The Amber Alerts states that Kennedy was last seen wearing a black and white polka dot onesie with pink pants. She weighs just 6 pounds and measures 17-inches long with brown hair and brown eyes. 

It remains unclear who initially reported Danielle and Kennedy missing. It is also unknown if Kennedy’s father is around or not.

According to ABC 24, a man who knew both Danielle and Kennedy was taken into police custody for questioning. It has yet to be reported if that man had any pertinent information or how the man knows the victim and her child.
