Nearly a month after she and her rumored-fiancé, Alexander “AE” Edwards, welcomed a baby boy into the world, model and influencer Amber Rose has shared photos of her new son for the first time.
As Mamas Uncut previously reported, the couple named their bundle of joy, Slash Electric Alexander Edwards. Slash was born on October 10. He is Rose’s second child. She is also a mother to 6-year-old Sebastian Taylor Thomaz, who she shares with ex-husband, rapper Wiz Khalifa.
Rose and Edwards made the decision to keep the first month of Slash’s life relatively private. However, the influencer has given her fans a glimpse into her new life as a mom of two, thanks to the handful of photos and videos she shared in a recent Instagram post.
The last video in the post shows Rose breastfeeding Slash, as Sebastian watched television nearby. In the video, you can see the nipple shield between Slash and Rose. And after receiving a slew of questions in regards to the shield, Rose shared some of her breastfeeding expertise in a video.
“So yesterday when I posted that slideshow, I showed a video of me breastfeeding my baby and I seen a lot of the comments talking about nipple shields. And yes, it is a nipple shield. And fun fact, I have inverted nipples, so that sucks for breastfeeding, but the nipple shields definitely help out a lot whether you have inverted nipples or not. They kind of protect the nipple, it’s like an extra little layer. Because, as you know if you’ve ever breastfed before, it hurts really really bad. Slash seems to love it, I used it on both of my kids. I highly, highly recommend them.”
Slash’s father was the first to announce his birth publicly on social media. He wrote, “Slash Electric Alexander Edwards.. the world is [yours] now. Thank [you] [Amber Rose] for loving me so much that [you] put [your] body [through] it [to] bring my [son] [into] the world. I could never be as strong as [you]. Slash [is] a rockstar.”
The couple first announced they were expecting their first child together on April 3. And now that baby Slash is here, it seems as though the couple can’t get enough of their new bundle of joy.
It’s hard not to melt when seeing Edwards interact with his baby boy, thanks to the videos Rose shared showing the two of them bonding. Rose also shared a hilarious slide show of what her family was doing in the delivery room while she was contracting.

It seems like Rose had plenty of entertainment to help keep her mind off the pain and discomfort she was most likely feeling.
How did your family act while they waited for your bundle of joy to arrive?
