America’s Got Talent returned this past Tuesday for the sixth night of auditions, and the competition continues to stun the nation, especially when it comes to one very talented 9-year-old.
Celebrity judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara and Heidi Klum were floored when they met the young singer, Victory.
When she was asked what she’d do with the grand prize, Victory says she’d like to “buy Simon a rainbow shirt that has glitter on it.”
She also admitted she was “ex-nervous” which means excited and nervous but watching her command the stage, you would be shocked to hear that.
And the performance, well, let’s just say words don’t do it justice. Her voice fills the room and the judges quickly shoot up (aside from Simon) to give her a standing ovation.
“I was not expecting that. And you’re angelic,” Howie marvels.”

Simon then says he wants to discuss and calls over the judges into a huddle.
Simon surprises the young girl by saying, “We’re not going to give you a yes today. We’re going to do something we’ve never done on the show before. We’re going to give you something special.”
And then — all at once — the five hit the Golden Buzzer, which envelopes the 9-year-old in confetti. Many commented how impressed they were of the young singer.
One user commented: “Watch her again…. she wasn’t even trying, she has no idea how talented she is. She was maybe at 50% effort … can’t wait to see what she’ll do next.”
While another said: “It’s obvious she has perfect control of her voice, that takes a lot of classes and training. Her mom is amazing to cherish and supporting her daughter all the way.”
Followed by: “I have to say that she really deserves the golden buzzer, she has a beautiful sound and the most important is her bravery and her beauty, some people just come up with their talents or just skills but the difference between Victory and other golden buzzers is her stage presence, even [though] she’s 9, she’s making jokes with the judges and she even joked about Simon, who always is thought to be a rude person when he’s not, she sings like an adult and you can see the change when she started to sing, I have to say she is a perfect singer. Whether she will get the prize or not, she should be proud of herself.”
