As Father’s Day 2022 comes to an end, one of the cutest ways kids and parents alike celebrate the special day is by sharing some of their favorite photos on social media. And the biggest stars are no stranger to that either and you have to see Anderson Cooper’s!
From Nick Jonas celebrating his first Father’s Day with his baby daughter to Anderson Cooper ringing in the big day for the first time as a father of two, it’s always fun to catch a little glimpse into the things that brought other people joy. And we have to admit, Cooper’s photos have us smiling from ear to ear.
Along with an adorable caption, the famous newsman shared a series of adorably daring photos of his oldest son, Wyatt, sitting on his shoulders while he thoroughly enjoyed eating chocolate ice cream out of a sugar cone. And while Anderson Cooper has enjoyed the last few Father’s Day, he admits they weren’t always as joyous for him.
Like Cooper admitted, he understands how those who don’t have fathers to celebrate on this day feel. “For much of my life, Father’s Day was the day I avoided, pretending it didn’t exist, or that I’d forgotten what day it was,” Cooper began his caption.
“The pain of remembering was just too great. The loss of my dad, who died when I was ten, was so painful, and still is at times. But today I celebrated Father’s Day, remembering my dad, Wyatt, with little Wyatt and Sebastian and their Papa, Benjamin. I can’t believe how lucky I am.”
