The phrase, “family vacation” takes on a whole new meaning when you’re a member of the Duggar family. Earlier this month, Josh and Anna Duggar traveled to Los Angeles to visit with Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo.
Naturally, they traveled with Josh’s parents and a large number of siblings. There are always so many cute kids around the Duggars. This vacation went from pleasant to stressful when Anna lost track of her two-year-old son when they visited a museum.

Anna Duggar had quite the mom-scare at a visit to the Autry Museum.
A witness who saw the incident told Radar Online, that he first heard Anna frantically asking, “Where’s Mason? Where’s Mason?” over and over.
Mason is her fifth child and only two-years-old. Anna apparently thought her son was with his other siblings and aunts. Her fear turned to panic as she exclaimed, “You guys were supposed to be watching him! Where is he?”
Anna spent the next several minutes searching through the exhibits for Mason until Jinger showed up, to save the day, “It’s OK, Anna, I found him! He’s here with us,” she reportedly said.
One of the benefits of being part of such a large family is that there’s always another set of eyes on your kids, especially when out in a busy location! Sounds like that was the case here, but we imagine it was still a scary few minutes for Anna!
The most puzzling aspect of the incident is Josh’s absent concern.
For whatever reason, the family often splits the family up by gender. Josh was with his father and some of the other “Duggar boys” and completely “oblivious” to the situation.
A source had some criticism for Josh, saying, “Anna has a lot she’s dealing with and it doesn’t seem Josh has her back. She has to rely on other family members to watch her kids and she’s got another one on the way … I don’t know how Anna deals with it.”
Just last month, Anna got candid about their marriage and its struggles.
In addition to the photo she posted, she added a caption saying, “11 years ago, before God, our family and friends we said, ‘I do!’ — and my how the past 11 years have flown by! The joys we’ve experienced together have far surpassed the shadows of sorrow we’ve walked through. Through it all, God’s kindness and grace has sustained us.”
In case you missed all of the tragic drama, Anna is referring to the several months Josh spent in rehab for sex addiction. Multiple sexual abuse scandals swirled around him including the alleged molestation of his sisters. He was also tangled up in the Ashley Madison scandal and cheated on Anna using the service.
It’s heartbreaking that after all Anna has been through, she still can’t count on Josh. At least she found Mason.
Look at this happy boy! We’re so glad Anna found Mason and that everything turned out fine in Los Angeles. We can’t speak to the health of her marriage to Josh, but we hope things keep changing for the better. She’s expecting another child next month.
