Audrey Roloff Reflects on Final Days of Second Pregnancy with Sweet Words for Husband, Jeremy Roloff

Any day now, expectant mom, Audrey Roloff will be going into labor with her second child. She’s been thinking about her pregnancy and how far she’s come. As many moms know, the waiting game is a mixture of excitement, nerves, and contemplation.

In a new Instagram post, Audrey talks about the final days of her pregnancy and reflects on her journey to this point. She’s got a lot nice things to say about her husband, Jeremy Roloff who’s been a supportive partner throughout.

In a new post, Audrey Roloff thanks her husband for going “above and beyond these last couple of weeks.”

“I just have to say how thankful I am to be married to a man that makes me feel cherished, cared for, and confident, especially in these final days of pregnancy,” Audrey captioned the post. “He has gone above and beyond these last few weeks to help me feel more at peace in what can be a very anxious time for expecting mamas.”

She also says that Jeremy’s been keeping her daughter, Ember, busy with dance parties and fort-building. This is so relatable because being pregnant with a toddler is a job.

“I love you and it’s an honor to be your wife,” Audrey added. “I can’t wait to bring our son into this world together.”

Jeremy also posted to Instagram about being in full “downtime” mode waiting for their son to arrive.

He captioned the post of him building a fire, “Nightly routine this time of year. We’re in full downtime mode as we wait to meet our son.”

Jeremy could build us fire. Just had to put that out into the world. Although, nothing is hotter than a supportive husband.

We’re glad the Roloff’s are ready for their son to arrive. It’s been an eventful time for the family.

Behind the scenes of our reality lately… I thought I’d have more cute family Christmas photos???? filling my camera roll by now, but instead I have this photo… Holding a sick baby at 4 a.m. in the emergency room???? Last week Ember came down with her first bad tummy bug and it was a solid 4 or 5 days of “owie tummy,” fever and vommiting… she started to feel better for a couple days, but then started saying “owie” when she went to the bathroom… and then at night spiked a high fever so I was concerned about a UTI. We walked in to the ER at 11 p.m. and didn’t get discharged till 5 a.m. ???? Sitting on that miserable chair all night, while 37 weeks pregnant, just to wait for a urine sample and a nose swab.. I do not understand the ER????????‍♀️ Welp, turns out she has RSV???? on top of everything else she’s been through the last week. Was up all night again last night with a horrible cough and fever???? In between comforting her, the pressure of a book manuscript that’s already past deadline????, all the year-end stuff when you run your own business/shop, Christmas commitments, the final weeks of pregnancy aches/emotions, and just feeling nervous for labor… I’m at the end of an already frayed rope. So if your week doesn’t look as dreamy and perfect as the Christmasy photos you’re seeing on Instagram right now, you’re not alone.????????‍♀️ I’m giving myself permission to have unwrapped gifts under the tree, unresponded to e-mails/texts, stay in my pajamas, let the laundry baskets overflow, put on another episode of Daniel Tiger for Ember, and order take out for the 4th time this week. ????Maybe you need to extend extra grace to yourself this week too. I give you permission.

The couple recently spent a night at the ER with daughter, Ember who was not feeling great. Before that, Jeremy was in the hospital for a surgery to treat a hernia.

At the time, Audrey posted about the difficulties.

While Jeremy was recovering, Audrey decided to try and start potty-training with Ember. She posted, “I’ve been taking care of 3 babies the past couple of days.”

Audrey posted about the experience further in early November.

It’s hard enough being pregnant, add to that a recovering husband and a toddler to care for and you’ve got a recipe for a headache.

“It’s been a tough week. Taking care of a husband who is recovering from surgery and can hardly get up out of bed, potty training and cleaning up lots of poop,” Audrey said at the time.

Audrey’s made it this far and we’re so excited for her.

Having a baby is a journey and Audrey has really, really been on one. We’re so excited for this family to grow a little bit more. We think Ember is going to be a great big sister to her new little brother.
