Bindi Irwin Celebrates Daughter’s 2nd Birthday With a Beautiful Garden Party

Bindi Irwin had a celebratory and milestone-filled weekend with her husband, Chandler Powell, and daughter, Grace Warrior. Not only were they celebrating their three-year wedding anniversary, but they were celebrating their daughter’s second birthday – both of which landed on Saturday, March 25.

Irwin and Powell first met one another at the Australia Zoo – which is owned by Bindi’s mother, Terri Irwin – in 2013. They stayed in touch for nearly two years before they started dating in 2015. They eventually got engaged in July 2019 and tied the knot on March 25, 2020 at the same place they met 7 years prior.

One year later, on the first anniversary of their wedding day, they welcomed their daughter, Grace Warrior, into this world – the first grandchild of legendary zookeeper Steve Irwin, who passed away in September 2006. Steve and Terri also have a 19-year-old son, Robert, who is involved in the zookeeping business.

Bindi Irwin took to Instagram to celebrate her daughter’s second birthday. On March 22, she posted a photo of her daughter alongside a birthday cake, wombat, and echidna. In the caption, she invited fans to the Australia Zoo on March 25 for a special celebration – a free event for anyone under 14 years old.

The event was a smash hit and included a live performance by Bluey and Bingo, a safari challenge obstacle course, party hat creations, free cupcakes, pot planting, clay workshops, and so much more. Attendees were also granted the opportunity to meet Bluey and Bingo – a popular kids television show.

On March 25, Bindi Irwin again took to Instagram to share photos of her daughter on her birthday. Bindi, Grace, and Chandler were spending some time outside in the snow – Grace equipped with fuzzy pink pants and a matching pink jacket as she held onto her favorite bunny-blanket. Everyone was smiling!

“Grace Warrior, you are the sunshine that fills our lives. Every day I am amazed by your hundreds of words and smiles, fascination for the natural world/every animal you discover and your adventurous soul. You see wonder in everything and remind me that the world is made of magic,” Bindi wrote in the caption.

Bindi Irwin Shares Photos of the Garden Party

On Sunday, Bindi Irwin once again took to Instagram to share photos of the adorable garden party she threw for her now-2-year-old daughter – who was dressed in a blue-striped dress with a floral bow tied on her waist and floral patterns on her shoulders. She was holding a party hat and a ‘Happy Birthday’ sign.

Her party hat and matching paper plates featured a photo of ‘Doug the Pug’ – a celebrity dog who is owned by Leslie Mosier and has more than 3.6 million followers on Instagram. In the comments section, Doug the Pug shared a brief message for Grace: “Happy Birthday Grace!! Love, Doug Pug ????”

Grace’s favorite (and only) Uncle, Robert Irwin, shared three red heart emojis in the comments section, while others wished Grace a Happy Birthday – including author Steve Maraboli, professional dancer Sasha Farber, actress Emmy Perry, and ‘The Wiggles’ member Tsehay Hawkins
