The mom of James, Ines, and a third whose name has yet to be revealed wrote, “Looking for a good pic of me and Sterling K. Brown but my abs look so good here. Dear abs, I miss us.”
The former Gossip Girl star gave birth to her third daughter in October 2019 after she surprised the public by showing up to one of her husband’s movie premieres sporting a baby bump roughly five months earlier.
She and husband Ryan Reynolds‘ two oldest daughters, James and Inez, are 4 years old and 3 years old, respectively.
The hard-working mama shared her fitness transformation in preparation for her latest role, on Instagram in 2018. She worked closely with trainer Don Saladino to get herself, and her abs, into fighting shape.
However, while Blake is longing for her six-pack, she has spoken out in the past about the unnecessary pressures put on new moms to look a certain way.
In a 2016 interview with People, the star said of women who immediately return to their pre-baby body, “It’s so unfair though because it’s so celebrated. It’s like, this is what someone can look like after a baby. I think a woman’s body after having a baby is pretty amazing.”
Lively continued, “You don’t need to be Victoria’s Secret ready right away because you just did the most incredible miracle that life has to offer. I mean you gave birth to a human being! So I would really like to see that celebrated.”

Since giving birth to her third child, Lively graced the red carpet for the first time to promote the premiere of her newest movie The Rhythm Section on January 27. Three months after giving birth, the actress stunned in a black corset gown and arm-length gloves.
She said of her look, “Corsets make you feel like you’re on the brink of having it together. But, you know, this is not real life. I gotta get this thing off!”
