3-Year-Old Boy Missing After His Mother Was Found Dead Over 100 Miles Away From Home

Wisconsin authorities are looking for a 3-year-old boy who went missing after his mother was found murdered. According to Milwaukee police, authorities have been searching for Major P. Harris since Thursday.

Major P. Harris, 3, reportedly disappeared after his mother was found dead in the backyard of a Milwaukee home. The police department did not clarify in their statement if this home belonged to Harris’ mom, 25-year-old Mallery Muenzenberger.

Police believe Clark may have taken the 3-year-old, according to the Amber Alert that was issued upon his disappearance. Sadly, police have been unable to locate Harris since.

The relation between Muensenberger and Clark remains unclear. Now, Harris’ father, Carlton Harris Jr., is asking anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of his son to please come forward or call the police. In addition to his plea, Carlton told NBC affiliate WTMJ of Milwaukee that he “did not know why the boy or his mother, who are from the La Crosse area, were in Milwaukee.”

Carlton went on to say that “he was trying to move the boy to West Virginia to live with him when Major and his mother disappeared.”

Police Inspector Paul Formolo shared similar sentiments, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, asking people to “please come forward and have a conversation with us. Even if you think it’s insignificant, it could be that missing piece that we need.”

Formolo said the authorities found the 2008 Chevrolet Equinox that Clark might have been driving. Investigators say they believe this discovery will give them new leads. Police say blood was found in the SUV and samples have been sent to the State Crime Lab.

In the Amber Alert, Major P. Harris is described as being black with black hair, brown eyes, he stands 3-feet tall and weighs approximately 40 pounds. Several searches that have been conducted to find Harris yielded no results.

According to NBC News, police say Harris was last seen in La Crosse, which is 170 miles from Milwaukee.

As a result, no other searches are scheduled to take place. Instead, police will actively search areas based on credible tips they receive.
