Brian Laundrie’s lawyer is not happy with John Walsh or Dog the Bounty Hunter. According to Fox News, the Laundrie’s lawyer, Steve Bertolino, is upset over John Walsh’s ID channel special about the Gabby Petito case.
During the special, titled, Gabby Petito: ID Special Report, Walsh detailed what is known so far regarding Petito’s murder and Brian Laundrie’s status as a fugitive. As Mamas Uncut reports, Laundrie disappeared from his parents’ Florida home on September 13 after he traveled home from their cross-country trip in their white Ford van without Petito with him.

Brian Laundrie’s Lawyer Slams John Walsh and Dog the Bounty Hunter
Currently, Laundrie is only a person of interest in Gabby Petito’s murder. However, he has been accused and charged with bank fraud after using Petito’s bank card after her passing.
During the report, John Walsh alluded to the idea that Laundrie may have crossed the border into Mexico after fleeing his parents’ home. He also suggested that the FBI should also look for Laundrie in the Bahamas or along the Appalachian Trail.
Walsh even went as far as to say he believes Brian’s parents could be helping him evade capture. “I absolutely believe that his family is helping him stay on the run,” Walsh said.
Now, Steve Bertolino is calling both Walsh and Dog the Bounty Hunter, who has been conducting his own search for Brian, “dusty relics.” You can read Bertolino’s full statement to Fox News below.
“Dusty relics like that Dog and John Walsh need a tragic situation like this so they can clear the cobwebs off their names and give their publicity-hungry egos some food.”
Following the aggressive statement, Walsh responded through his spokesperson to say, “no comment,” while Dog had a little more to say. “It’s ironic that Mr. Bertolino would criticize the people trying to find Brian Laundrie unless perhaps he doesn’t want him to be found,” the Bounty Hunter said.
As it was reported yesterday, Gabby Petito died by strangulation roughly 3 to 4 weeks before her body was discovered on September 19. Petito was first reported missing on September 11, 10 days after Laundrie returned home without her. No other information regarding her death has been released.
