After announcing that she started a new company called Northwood Space, former Disney Channel star Bridgit Mendler is also sharing another big milestone. Who says you can’t have it all?
In her announcement, shared on X, Mendler revealed that her new company, Northwood Space, will design “shared ground infrastructure from first principles to expand access to space. We have a lot of work ahead of us, but that’s the fun part.” She went on to reveal that the company has already secured $6.3 million in funding.
Shortly thereafter, Mendler, now 31, made a second announcement. She a new mom to a 4-year-old little boy.
“The other news I wanted to share is I’m a mama to a sweet 4[year old] boy. Started fostering in 2021 adopted near Christmas of 2022.”
“I’m so lucky — being a parent is the biggest gift and most defining experience there is,” Bridgit Mendler added. “That’s my news for now folks ????.”
Mom and CEO are just two of the many impressive accolades on Mendler’s resume. She also a graduate of Harvard University, MIT, and USC.
She also worked on several well known projects like Good Luck Charlie, Lemonade Mouth, and Netflix’s Merry Happy Whatever.
In 2019, Bridgit Mendler announced on Instagram that she married Griffin Cleverly, an engineer. Griffin is labeled a co-founder of Northwood Space as well.
