On Thursday (August 10), Brody Jenner and his fiance, Tiarah “Tia” Blanco, took to Instagram and YouTube to share some exciting news with their fans and followers – they’re officially parents! The couple welcomed their first child together – a healthy daughter named Honey Raye Jenner – on July 29, 2023.
“Momma and baby are in perfect health. We are so incredibly in love and have been cherishing this precious time together as a family. We want to thank everyone for all the love and support,” they wrote in a joint Instagram post – sharing a snippet from a YouTube video that documents the pregnancy and birth.
Of course, that’s not the only thing the video documents. During the couple’s baby shower on June 18, Brody got down on one knee and proposed to the love of his life – and she said YES! Within a matter of two months, they went from dating to being engaged to being the parents to an adorable little girl.

In the YouTube video, which was posted the same day as their joint Instagram post, Brody Jenner details the one thing he’s most excited about when it comes to fatherhood. “I think that what I’m most excited about is doing things differently than my father did,” he said – referring to his father, Caitlyn Jenner.
He goes on to explain how he ‘didn’t have the greatest relationship with [Caitlyn]’ – who wasn’t really around a whole lot during his childhood. “So, I think that… just doing the exact opposite, being the absolute best father I can possibly be and getting ready for the journey [is what I want],” he continued.
Brody Jenner was the second of two sons between Caitlyn Jenner (formerly Bruce Jenner) and Linda Thompson – they also share one more son (Brandon Jenner) together. Caitlyn and Linda got married in January 1981 (a year after they started dating) and separated in 1986 before moving on to other partners.
Now that Brody and Tia started a family of their own, they’re looking forward to watching their baby grow up one day at a time. “She’s going to be the best mom,” he said of Tia. “And hopefully I can just be the absolute best father and be there for all these incredible events in her life. I just can’t wait to meet her.”

Brody Jenner and Tia Blanco understand how social media works – you’re never going to please everyone and you’re going to face your fair share of hate, especially when you’re putting yourself out there like they are. And while they just celebrated two incredible milestones in their lives, the hate has come in bunches.
They first started receiving hate when they posted the proposal video in mid-June. Many people were quick to criticize Tia for not looking stoked and ecstatic when he proposed – which she credited to the element of surprise and not wanting to cry. The couple talked about the hate in the YouTube video.
They also received a subtle dose of hate on August 12, when Brody posted a video of their baby girl sleeping. EDM music was playing in the background of the video and Tia was waving Honey’s hands in the air (like they were at a concert). It was a precious moment, but not everyone saw it that way.
Several people in the comments said they should ‘let the baby rest’ because the little girl is trying to sleep. Luckily, they had backup.” Y’all do realize babies are used to sleeping while moving, right? You think they were awake in the womb every time mom was awake and moving?” one user wrote in their defense.

While they’ve received a little hate, the couple have been overwhelmed with love and support over the past couple of months and everyone’s excited to see them grow as parents – and get married one day soon!
