Chris Pratt Shares Rare Pics of Him and 10-Year-Old Son, Jack, at Dodgers Game

Chris Pratt was blessed with quite the experience at Dodger Stadium to celebrate the relaunch of the Los Angeles Dodgers’ Christian Faith and Family Day – and he got to take it all in with his 10-year-old son, Jack! The father-son duo spent some time on the field before Chris took the mound for the first pitch.

The 44-year-old actor took to Instagram to share several photos from the outing and thanked pitcher Clayton Kershaw for inviting them. Chris and Jack sported matching Dodgers hats with Dodgers jerseys – Chris opting for a No. 47 with Pratt on the back, while Jack went with a No. 64 with Pratt on the back.

“What a day! Jack and I got to hit the mound together, eat our bodyweight in Dodger Dogs, and delivered the game-opening announcement! Thank you @claytonkershaw for asking me to throw yesterday’s first pitch for Faith and family day, what an honor! Let’s go Dodgers!” Pratt wrote in the Instagram caption.

The seven-photo slideshow included several pictures of Chris and Jack outside the stadium, on the field, and in the stands – and even one alongside Clayton Kershaw (a future Hall of Fame pitcher who has been with the Dodgers for 16 seasons). He, of course, also shared a video of his impressive first pitch.

Unfortunately, several people in the comments section expressed disappointment in Pratt for attending the Dodger Game at all. As the caption revealed, the Dodgers hosted their faith and family day, but fellow conservatives are still upset over the Dodgers’ Pride Day celebration.

“Faith and family day? After they allowed that display of blasphemy a few weeks ago,” one commenter wrote. “Why would u support the dodgers? They mocked the Catholic faith,” another added.

Chris Pratt shares his son, Jack, with ex-wife Anna Fariss. They started dating in 2007, got engaged in 2008, and tied the knot in Bali, Indonesia on July 9, 2009. Faris gave birth to Jack in 2012 and the couple stayed together for another five years before separating in 2017 – their divorce was finalized in 2018.

The former couple have previously decided to not show their child’s face on social media – which is why Jack’s back is turned in Pratt’s photos from their baseball outing. While Jack does make the occasional appearance on his father’s social media, his face will always be hidden – at least in some capacity.

In addition to his lone son with Fariss, Pratt also shares two daughters with his current wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger (the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger). They started dating in 2018got engaged in 2019, and tied the knot in Montecito, California that same year. They had a daughter in 2020 and 2022.

Chris Pratt Shares a Photo of His Fishing Trip With Jack

Their recent outing at Dodger Stadium was just the latest adventure for Chris Pratt and his 10-year-old son, Jack. On June 15, the Guardians of the Galaxy star shared photos from a recent fishing trip he went on with his son – and it was a good day for both of them as they each reeled in some impressive fish!

“The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me to Stillwater. Imagine being led to a still body of water and seeing your reflection, the face of one in want of nothing,” Pratt wrote in the caption – the post also included photos of deer, a baby cow, sheep, and more.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight in June 2022, Pratt praised his son for being a good big brother to his two daughters – Lyla and Eloise. “There’s a big age separation… [and] he does a great job, he’s so sweet with them,” Pratt said at the time. “And they love him so much and they miss him when he’s gone.”

Earlier this year, Chris Pratt detailed the differences between raising a boy to raising a girl – let alone two of them. “My daughter Lyla is so girly. I picked her up yesterday and she said, ‘Oh Daddy, that’s a cute outfit. Look, you have little cute pockets,” he said – noting that his son would never say that to him.
