Recently, her husband, singer John Legend, finished up judging another season of The Voice and as a form of celebration, invited his fellow judges—Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton, and Kelly Clarkson—over for dinner.

However, as Teigen revealed on Twitter, she had no idea the dinner party was in celebration of the season finale, and she was not happy with John. (Warning: Some might find the language used in Teigen’s tweets offense.)
After explaining that one doesn’t “eat short ribs” after winning The Voice, she continued by telling her fans that she knows her complaints sound “stupid” but she doesn’t care.
“It sounds dumb, yes but this is VERY John. I am always in charge of doing the fun, extra shit and he has no idea how much I plan normally and he’s like “no it’s fine they just wanna have dinner” but it’s literally the finale of their show??? And I have no ice cream truck.”
Teigen added, “If u think this is stupid, go ahead and tell me what you made when Blake Kelly and Gwen came over to your house?” Good point, Chrissy, good point.
She then shared the conversation she had with her husband after finding out it was the finale via text message.
Shortly after the tweets went public, other wives showed their support for Teigen. Apparently being an EGOT winner doesn’t make you any different from all the other husbands in the world.

One commenter wrote, “Every man, ever. They will never get why it’s not okay to spring these things on us. My husband invited someone from work over on a day I’d done laundry. They walked in the house to see my bras hanging on cabinet pulls to dry. I wanted to kill him.”
Another person said, “This is every husband ever.” And one more added, “Just because he is the sexiest man alive does not mean we thought he was any smarter than the rest of them!”

Although it’s not exactly clear how the somewhat impromptu dinner went, a photo Teigen later shared on Twitter makes it appear that even though there wasn’t an ice cream truck, everyone still had a good time.
She also shared that Blake Shelton “is the only celebrity bigger in person.” Huh, who knew?
