Chrissy Teigen is setting the record straight after posting photos of herself in a neck brace.
As Hollywood and New York’s elite walk the Met steps in incredible clothing, Teigen shared a picture to her Instagram Stories from her couch in LA while wearing a neck brace.
While much of the guest list is often kept a secret up until the big night, Teigen and her husband John Legend are usually staples at the event. Not this year.
And because of the pictures Teigen shared just moments ago, people became concerned for her wellbeing.
In a second photo, Teigen revealed she was wearing the brace because she failed in her attempt to do a headstand.
As more and more people saw Teigen’s photos, she shared a video on her Instagram story explaining that it’s nothing serious and her injury isn’t the reason she isn’t at the Met Gala, in fact it was decided long ago that she wouldn’t be attending this year.
Teigen added that she got the brace from CVS because as a result of attempting to do a headstand, at the moment she can’t turn her head from side to side.
“I just can’t rotate my neck because I tried to do a handstand and it didn’t go well. That’s all, there is no story. I’m fine,” she explained.
“I’m so stupid for having made this a thing. I’m sorry,” Chrissy Teigen added.
