On September 16, the world saw all 8 of the Queen’s grandchildren together for the first time in a long time. Each one of the Queen’s four children, Princess Anne, Prince Edward, Prince Andrew, and King Charles III all have two children respectively.
Zara and Peter belong to Princess Anne, Princess Eugene and Princess Beatrice belong to Prince Andrew, Lady Louise and James, Viscount, the Queen’s youngest grandchildren, belong to Prince Edward, and of course, Prince Harry and Prince William belong to King Charles II.

The grandchildren’s guarding of the Queen’s coffin comes after her four children did the same. According to reports, “Princess Anne, The Princess Royal is making history tonight as the first woman ever to stand guard during the traditional Vigil of The Princes. Must be such an emotional moment to do it for her mother.”
William and Harry shocked people shortly after news of the Queen’s passing on September 8 when the beloved royal brothers made a joint appearance outside Buckingham palace alongside their lovely wives.

While walking around the memorial, Middleton revealed that Prince Louis had a profound response to his great-grandmother’s passing. Sunday Times editor Roya Nikkhah revealed on Twitter that “an emotional Princess of Wales told a group of children that Prince Louis said, ‘At least Grannie is with Great Grandpa now.’”
The Queen died while at Balmoral, her home where she usually summered. According to reports, People has confirmed that Elizabeth’s son, Prince Andrew, and his former wife, Sarah ‘Fergie’ Ferguson will be caring for the Queen’s beloved corgis now that she is gone.
A source told People that “the corgis will return to live at Royal Lodge with the Duke and Duchess. It was the Duchess who found the puppies, which were gifted to Her Majesty by the Duke.”
