Nearly two weeks after being arrested for throwing a chair off the roof of a Nashville bar, country music star Morgan Wallen is speaking out.

On Twitter, Wallen shared is short and concise statement, writing, “I didn’t feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks. I’ve touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the good people at Chief’s. I’m not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility.”

He continued, saying, “I have the utmost respect for the officers working every day to keep us all safe. Regarding my tour, there will be no change.”

TMZ has obtained a video that seemingly shows the chair Morgan Wallen allegedly threw off a sixth-floor building.

On April 7, while in Nashville, Tennessee, Wallen was arrested on Broadway after he reportedly threw off a rooftop. Police reported that video evidence taken from inside the bar and witness testimony confirm it was Morgan Wallen who threw the chair.

And although the video obtained by TMZ doesn’t show Wallen. You can see the chair fly through the air.

According to TMZ, the chair landed near police officers who were patrolling the area around 10:52 p.m. There haven’t been any reports of injury as a result of the tossed chair.

Wallen hasn’t confessed to the crime. But his lawyer told TMZ that he is cooperating with the authorities.

The country singer was arrested at the scene and put into the back of a cop car. He was booked, his mug shot taken, and now he faces three felony counts of reckless endangerment.

Wallen has since posted bail.
