One dad is opening up about how he feels about Taylor Swift’s attendance at NFL games.
For whatever reason, there are a lot of “dads, Brads, and Chads” who have been up in arms over Swift supporting her boyfriend and attending NFL games. Specifically, they are upset because the cameras broadcasting the games take a few seconds to make her presence known.
Despite what those naysayers think, Swift has welcomed an entirely new audience to football, making the NFL bigger and more popular than ever before.
But this one dad is hoping his story will change some of the other dads’ minds. Because for this dad, Taylor Swift’s presence in the NFL has only made his bond with his teenage daughter grow stronger.
John took to TikTok following the Bills game against the Steelers with the sole purpose of sending a message to other football-loving dads who have daughters.
“A word of advice for all the dads out there, especially all the girl dads, the dads of teenage girls, this whole thing with Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, you need to embrace. You really do,” John began.
“Stop being a jerk about it. It’s gonna be good for your relationship with your daughter,” John continued. “This past Monday, I went to a playoff game in single degree weather, sitting on a pile of snow with our feet in ice. Our toes were red when we left.”
But despite the frigid temperatures, John said he had the time of his life because his daughter was sitting right there beside him.
“I had the time of my life with my teenage daughter at a football game. Do you think that happens without Taylor Swift? You really need to embrace it. Do it.”
How amazing is that?
