Goodwin was supposed to fall underneath the cars before they collided, but the timing was off and as a result, he was crushed between them as they came together. A filming scheduled for Friday, Oct. 15, was canceled, according to a ticket website. The show was set to to wrap filming on Oct. 21.

Goodwin’s accident comes just two weeks after NBC announced the show as “the most outrageous, unique and jaw-dropping acts of enormous scale and magnitude that simply cannot be confined to a theater stage.”
