Demi Moore Reveals Shocking Details of Traumatic Childhood, Shares Details of Devastating Miscarriage During Ashton Kutcher Relationship

Superstar Demi Moore is not holding back in her new memoir, Inside Out. The actress is opening up about everything from her substance abuse, tumultuous relationships, motherhood, miscarriage, and her traumatic childhood.

One of the biggest bombshells in the mom-of-three’s new book is that she was the victim of sexual assault at the age of 15.

“For decades, I didn’t even think of it as rape. I thought of it as something I caused, something I felt obligated to do because this man expected it from me — I had let him expect it from me… I was an easy mark for a predator,” she writes in the tell-all.

Demi goes on to explain that her own mother received money from the older man who violated her, possibly in exchange for the sexual act with her daughter.

The traumatic experience led to years of substance abuse for the actress, along with complicated relationships with the men in her life. She went on to marry and later divorce Freddy Moore, Bruce Willis, and Ashton Kutcher

Demi and Bruce amicably share three daughters: Rumer, 31, Tallulah, 25, and Scout, 28.

The Ghost actress also writes that, during her time with Ashton, she had a devastating miscarriage at six months pregnant.

“I tried to allow myself to mourn, but it was so confusing. How could I grieve a person who’d never been in the world?” the actress shares.

“Ashton did his best to connect with me in my grief. He tried to be there for me during the miscarriage, but he couldn’t really understand what I was feeling.”
