Today’s Dylan Dreyer Posts Selfie In The Hospital: ‘We’ll Be Getting To Meet Our Littlest Boy …6 Weeks Early!”

Today’s Dylan Dreyer will be welcoming her third son a few weeks early!

“Just a little update as you won’t be seeing me on @todayshow or @3rdhourtoday for a while. My water broke Sunday evening and I’ve been hanging at the hospital. Our little guy is anxious to get out and meet us,” she began.

She continued, saying: “Doctors are closely monitoring both of us and trying to keep him on the inside for a little while longer to get stronger.”

She also shared how despite the selfie in the hospital, she is in good hands.

“All is well! I’m in great hands and I have the best person to keep me calm and comfortable. Looks like we’ll be getting to meet our littlest boy sometime this week…6 weeks early! Guess he couldn’t handle being left out of all the fun his brothers have been having! We’ll gladly take any extra prayers you have.”

Recently the soon-to-be-mom-of-three admitted how her son Oliver was busy throwing tantrums throughout Labor Day weekend. And the only person that could calm him down was, yup, you guessed it….Hoda Kotb.

She also posted the sweet snap to social media, explaining that her little Ollie had a tantrum and didn’t want to be held by anyone but Hoda.

She wrote: “When your toddler is mid-tantrum and hates the thought of even being near you, just give him to @hodakotb #hodaforthewin #immediatelyasleep #hugsfordays.”

Hoda wrote on her own page alongside the same picture: “One of my favorite moments if the weekend… hugging @dylandreyernbc ‘s Ollie…”

But when Hoda is not available, Dylan, who is also mom to Calvin, 4, revealed her own tips for calming down overstimulated tots.

“This worked with Calvin; for some reason it does not work with Ollie,” she explained to 3rd hour co-hosts Craig Melvin and Sheinelle Jones.

“But whenever Calvin was having these meltdowns — you know, like hitting the floor, really angry — I read somewhere that if you say, ‘Do you want a hug?’ it just kind of, like, jars them.”

Dylan continued, “He would come over and give me a hug, calm down and then we can talk about why he was upset.”
