‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’ Star Ellie Kemper Is Officially Pregnant with Her Second Child

Ellie Kemper, star of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, is pregnant with baby number two! The comedian, who first gained popularity playing receptionist Erin Hannon on The Office, is excited to expand her family with husband Michael Koman. The pair are already parents to son James Miller, who will be three next month.

Ellie casually shared her pregnancy news a few weeks ago during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! She apologized for having to miss a party that Kimmel had recently thrown for the cast Live in Front of a Studio Audience: Norman Lear’s All in the Family and The Jeffersons because she was pregnant and hadn’t felt well. She joked, “I’ve been blaming the pregnancy for so many things and this is one of them.”

The actress’ stylist, Jessica Paster, also let the news slip after commenting on photos from Ellie’s recent appearance at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations with the cast of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt event last week. Ellie posted a group shot from the event (though it didn’t show her baby bump) and Paster commented, “beautiful mommy to be.” Ellie wore a stunning red snakeskin dress to the event, styled by Paster.

After the birth of her son, Ellie opened up to People about her experience as a mom, saying “You’re forced to not think about yourself, which is great for me because I don’t like to think about myself. And now everything is put into perspective, which is healthy.”

Ellie has yet to reveal when Baby No. 2 is due.

Congratulations to the newly-pregnant Ellie Kemper! Stay tuned for further updates!
