Former Teen Mom OG star Farrah Abraham has landed herself in hot water after she posted a “racy” video of herself dancing on a boat in a skimpy red bikini.
While Abraham is known for her carefree lifestyle, people are up in arms over the video in question because it was reportedly taken while her 10-year-old daughter Sophia was nearby. According to Radar Online, the video was shared on January 21.
However, Sophia was not seen in the portion of the video that was posted on Instagram. It’s unclear how her followers knew Sophia was on the boat while the video was being shot.
One commenter wrote, “And your daughter was with you!! Mom of the year right there!!! I feel so bad for Sophia…you seriously need help!!!” And another questioned if Sophia was the person behind the camera, “I guess your daughter was filming this?”
Shortly after receiving numerous hateful comments, Abraham responded to the backlash with a statement shared by Radar Online:
“I have to say there is nothing wrong with a woman being, like, fully dressed in clothing — if that’s a bikini set or whatever. I feel like a lot of moms are sex-shamed — which I have definitely have been in my life — and I think when I’m single, gorgeous, young and beautiful, I would almost regret looking back at my life not living a happy, outgoing life. I would definitely hope my daughter is never shamed to cover up herself and not be her happiest.”

Then a few weeks later, Abraham issued a separate statement to clear up rumors that she was being investigated by Child Protective Services. As Radar Online reports, Abraham occasionally gets comments on social media from people who say things like, “This needs to be reported to CPS. She’s gone too far this time.”
However, while talking with a website called Champion Daily, Abraham said she has never been investigated by CPS. “I have had continued harassment, stalkers, and haters from the Teen Mom show [who] continue to call police on me after being hated on the show, I have taken extensive precautions against those who sell stories, lies, and harass my family.” She continued:
“Sophia is protected from the evil people and it’s sad people are jealous of my dating life, and try to affect my family in a negative way. We live a great life and are not affected by harassment of any sort and I will not tolerate unsafe illegal actions by others lying, stalking, or harassing my family. I see I need to post less on social media since cyber bullying and hate still has not been filtered out on social media.”

The rumor reportedly started after Sophia posted a video on Tik Tok and people assumed the 10-year-old had been left at home alone.
