On Instagram, Miami posted a video of Lauren wearing a big smile on her face as she played in a pool along with the caption, “This is my amazing, beautiful, funny, vibrant, loving, talented, smart, and hardheaded princess mermaid Aquarius. If you see this post scrolling by with her comment or just say to yourself, ‘I love you LAUREN’ because they say that souls can feel your love #rip.”
While Fetty Wap hadn’t addressed his daughter’s passing directly, until now, he did dedicate his most recent performance to her. “LoLo daddy did that s**t for you last night baby girl,” he wrote on Instagram, according to People.
Further reports by Hot97 suggest that Lauren passed away in her sleep in late June after a month of being sick. However, no other information has been revealed.
Fetty Wap Takes to Instagram to Address Young Daughter’s Passing:
Along with a photo of Lauren wearing the same big smile she had on in her mother’s tribute, Fetty Wap wrote, “Hey mini-me (My Twin) ♥️???? …. “ I love you to the moon and back forever and ever best friend “???????? ????…”
Earlier this week, Miami also asked the public to be “more compassionate” toward the rapper as they both grieve their daughter’s death. Miami and Fetty Wap haven’t always had the greatest relationship, according to reports.
However, while Miami and Fetty Wap may not have always seen eye to eye, the mother was quick to speak out in support of the father of her child. “You don’t have to kick a man while he’s down. Losing a child is as down as it gets.”
Her comments, which were made on her Instagram story, come after people were criticizing his parenting. She further addressed her own criticism of his parenting in past by saying, “co-parenting had improved off the gram. We came to a better place for Lauren.”
“All that y’all need to know is Lauren loved her daddy and he loved her. She made him laugh with her crazy funny personality and she loved to be the center of attention and he loved to be her audience.”
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Lauren’s family as they continue to walk through this difficult time.
