Kailia Posey became a household face very early on in her life. As one of the stars of TLC’s Toddlers and Tiaras, Posey captured people’s hearts with her adorable personality.
Former ‘Toddlers and Tiaras’ Star Has Passed Away at Age 16
Since her time on the show, Posey blossomed into a beautiful teenager. Sadly, her mom, Marcy Posey Gatterman took to Facebook to reveal shocking news.
On May 2, Marcy revealed her beloved daughter, Kaila, had passed away. Along with a photo in what appears to be a prom dress, Marcy wrote, “I don’t have words or any thoughts. A beautiful baby girl is gone. Please give us privacy as we mourn the loss of Kailia. My baby forever.”
Based on another Facebook post by Marcy, Kailia had just attended Prom 2022 with her friends. What caused Kailia’s untimely passing hasn’t been made public.
According to an Instagram account believed to be Kailia’s, the teen had just celebrated her 16th birthday in April. And her love of pageants hadn’t ceased.
She revealed in February that she had recently competed in the Miss Washington Teen USA pageant and that she was “so excited.”
Very early in her life, Kailia started training to be a contortionist. Just two days ago, she took to Instagram to share an impressive video of herself shooting a bow and arrow with her legs and feet while in a handstand.
