Dwyane Wade is keeping busy around the house — how you ask? By dressing his 1-year-old daughter, Kaavia.
The three-time NBA champion retiree had to record an introduction for his NBA on TNT segment and the end result was how life really is at home.
Dwyane went the extra mile when featuring his baby girl into the video — even putting her into a tutu!
But paired with fuzzy slippers and a shark-adorned bathing cap made Gabrielle Union question his bold outfit choices for their daughter.
“Oh my goodness, who dressed her?!” she said.
In the clip, Gabrielle steps in and assigns Dwyane to seventh-grade prealgebra duty for Zaya instead (smart move!)
Late last year, the 12-year-old Zaya came out as transgender and both Wade and Gabrielle could not have been more supportive.
Wade states his hopes for his older daughter are the same for his other children too.
“As I’m raising [Zaya], as I’m raising my kids, you just try to put them in the best situations to be able to succeed in life,” he says.
“How I do that, and how me and my wife decide to do that, maybe different than another family, but we want them to know there’s always unconditional love, that it will always be [supported].”
Wade adds, “We’ve got you, no matter what. And we see you. … I see you how you see you.”
