Gina Rodriguez Shares Stunning Maternity Photo With Husband, Joe LoCicero

Gina Rodriguez is showing off her baby bump in a new Instagram photo featuring her husband, Joe LoCicero. The two posed in an autumn-colored wooded setting as they cradled their soon-to-be. “Just the three of us.” she captioned the stunning photo, giving photograph credits to Michael Dearie.

Rodriguez announced her pregnancy in an Instagram video in late July, sending the internet into a frenzy as everyone rushed to welcome the new soon-to-be-parents. The video was shared on the actress’ 38th birthday – “This birthday hits different,” she captioned the video. It’ll be the couple’s first child together.

Rodriguez and LoCicero started dating in 2016 after meeting on the set of Jane the Virgin. Love blossomed rather quickly with the two announcing their engagement in 2018 and getting married in 2019. She announced her pregnancy more than five months ago, which means she should be due in early 2023.

Her baby bump update on Instagram last week received a lot of attention – more than 525,000 likes and dozens of comments from friends, fans, and fellow celebrities. Some of those that commented include Rick Glassman, Stephanie Beatriz, Niecy Nash, Bridget Regan, Melonie Diaz, and Carissa Ferreri

“OMG, how beautiful!!! Congratulations to Both, Blessings” wrote Ivonne Coll, who portrayed Alba Villanueva in Jane the Virgin. Leanne Aguilera also shared kind words with the actress – “You look stunning! Going to be the most wonderful mama!!” she said. Others were generous with the heart emoji.

Gina Rodriguez made her screen debut in 2004 when she appeared in an episode of Law & Order. She made a slew of appearances in television shows and films over the next decade – including Filly Brown – before receiving the role of Jane Villanueva in Jane the Virgin in 2014. She kept that role until 2019.

Some of her other notable films and shows include Deepwater Horizon (2016), Ferdinand (2017), Annihilation (2018), Miss Bala (2019), Someone Great (2019), and Scoob! (2020). She most recently appeared in Lost Ollie and I Want You Back in 2022 but is currently focused on her pregnancy.

Gina Rodriguez Posts Several Other Baby Bump Maternity Photos

A few days after posting her autumn-inspired maternity photo on Instagram, Gina Rodriguez took to the social media platform yet again to post a few more maternity photos – once again crediting Michael Dearie and Jorge Diaz with the photography. These photos didn’t feature her husband, Joe LoCicero.

The two photos appear to be taken in the same setting as the photo from above but give fans a closer look at that growing baby bump. Rodriguez is wearing a white shirt that leaves her bump exposed and jeans with the button undone. To keep her warm and fill the mood, she’s wearing an oversized red parka.

“I’m very excited and overwhelmed and feel like a superwoman,” said Gina Rodriguez in an August interview with PEOPLE. “I feel like every day is bizarre and different, and I have so much appreciation for every human being that has brought a child onto this planet,” she continued, showing her excitement.
