The Baldwin family has a new baby on the way. Hilaria and Alec Baldwin announced on social media that they’re expecting another “Baldwinito.” The little one will be the couple’s seventh child together.
After acknowledging that the last few months have been full of “ups and downs” for the family, Hilaria relayed the good news with a video of her ecstatic children celebrating after finding out they will be having another sibling.

In the celebratory video, the Baldwins’ six children can be seen excitedly running around after finding out the good news. María Lucía Victoria, 13 months, Carmen Gabriela, 8, Rafael Thomas, 6, Leonardo Ángel Charles, 5, Romeo Alejandro David, 3½, and Eduardo “Edu” Pao Lucas, 18 months all can be seen in the cheerful video. Hilaria is seated while Alec kneels next to her in the clip.
“After many ups and downs over the past few years, we have an exciting up and a huge surprise: another Baldwinito is coming this fall,” Hilaria captioned the video.
“We were pretty sure our family was complete, and we’re beyond happy with this surprise,” she also said. “I’m sharing with you the moment we told the kids—as you can see, they are super excited!”
“Our new baby is a very bright spot in our lives. A blessing and a gift during such uncertain times,” she said, a possible reference to Alec’s legal troubles surrounding a shooting on a film set last fall. “I’ve missed you during my break from social media…I’m back and looking forward to continuing with you this wild journey that we call ‘life.’ Our love to you and your loved ones.”

Hilaria’s exciting pregnancy announcement comes after she suffered a miscarriage and a pregnancy loss in 2019. The mom marked National Rainbow Baby Day on Instagram in August 2021 with a message about her two youngest children, María and Edu.
“When I lost my babies in 2019, I will always remember thinking my tears would never stop, she shared at the time. “I will always be sad, they still flow from time to time, and I hold this sadness written permanently in the pages of my life’s book. I also welcome and rejoice in my two rainbow babies, feeling that I am such a lucky mama.”

“We open and heal out loud not only for ourselves, but to let our sisters know that they are not alone,” she also wrote. “My mantra was: I’m not ok, but I want to be ok. This hurts, I want to process, I’ll allow myself to vent the pain, and I want to see the beauty in life again.”
It would seem that her positive outlook has paid off and that she can now expect her third rainbow baby. Despite a, no doubt, trying time for this family, we are thrilled with their baby news and wish them the very best of luck on this pregnancy journey!
