A Hollywood legend has passed away.
According to breaking reports, Glynis Johns, who was best known for her role as Mrs. Winifred Banks in Mary Poppins, has passed away.
Johns was 100 years old at the time of her passing.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Johns was living at an assisted living facility when she died. Her manager confirmed she died of natural causes.
During her time as a performer, Johns was a renowned actress, pianist, dancer, and singer. Her talent earned her an Oscar nomination in 1960 for her role in The Sundowners.
She was also a Tony Award winner for her portrayal of Desiree Armfeldt in the original 1973 Stephen Sondheim production of A Little Night Music.
The performer was married four times and had one son, late actor Gareth Forwood. According to Clem, Johns has no survivors.
