Why You Shouldn’t Wear a Claw Clip in Your Hair and Drive
In a world where there is so much to worry about, one woman is sharing her story to help others avoid the same pain she went through.
When it comes to hair accessories, it’s not often that you find any of them to be particularly dangerous. However, after this TikTok user shared her harrowing story, many people are second guessing wearing a claw clip in their hair while driving.

Arielle Elonys took to TikTok to share the story of a recent car accident she was in that left her with her upper back broken in three places. She captioned her video, “I wish I knew this before.”
She continued to share that her back broke when her head was unable to go all the way back when the airbag hit her. Her head was ultimately stopped by the hair clip that was in her hair.
“This is information that would have changed my life if I had it six months ago,” Arielle shared in her video. “I hope you listen.”
After showing the damaged claw clip to those who watched the video, she explained that “because it prevented my head from going back when the airbag hit me my back broke, my upper back broke almost on my cervical spine, in three places.”
She continued to say, “Thank God it didn’t get embedded in my head but that also happens for some people where they have to have [the claw clip] surgically removed from their head.”
In the end, Arielle begged those who use claw clips to avoid wearing them while driving. “You would think it would break,” she admitted, “But it didn’t, I broke.”
And Arielle is far from the first person to talk about the dangers of claw clips in cars. Paisley Riley also shared her scary experience on TikTok too.

In her experience, the claw clip did impale her and resulted in her needing staples in her head. In her situation, the claw clip didn’t break either.

So while these incidents might be rare, they do happen and it should be something people who wear claw clips are aware of.
Jerry Springer’s Cause of Death Revealed
In a statement made by Rabbi Sandford Kopnick of The Valley Temple, the religious leader announced that Springer’s battle with pancreatic cancer was short and his death was “sudden.”
“He hasn’t been sick for a long time,” Rabbi Kopnick told People. “He died of cancer, and he didn’t have cancer for very long.”
As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Jerry Springer led quite the life. From starting his career as a journalist, an American broadcaster, and a politician, before becoming one of the most recognizable talk show hosts in recent times, one could say he has done it all.
Now, new reports are revealing the lively talk show host has passed away. At the age of 79, Springer’s longtime friend and spokesperson, Jene Galvin, shared the news on Thursday morning, April 27, WLWT reported.
“Jerry’s ability to connect with people was at the heart of his success in everything he tried whether that was politics, broadcasting or just joking with people on the street who wanted a photo or a word,” Galvin continued.
“He’s irreplaceable and his loss hurts immensely, but memories of his intellect, heart, and humor will live on.” Springer was at his home in Chicago when he peacefully passed away.
According to TMZ, Springer was battling an illness at the time of his passing, reports suggest it was cancer. However, his cause of death has not yet been revealed.
Springer’s family has asked those looking to memorialize Jerry in their own way to refrain from sending flowers and rather “make a donation or commit to an act of kindness to someone in need or a worthy advocacy organization.” The family then left his fans with a beloved phrase Jerry often spoke to people, “Take care of yourself, and each other.”
Before becoming the host of his ever-popular talk show The Jerry Springer Show, Springer once ran for U.S. Congress in 1970 before becoming Mayor of Cincinnati in 1977. Fourteen years later, his show debuted in 1991.
The show first focused on political issues before it transition to a public forum where people could air their dirty laundry out for all to see. The show eventually ended in 2018.
He was last seen on television last year when he competed on the singing show The Masked Singer.
Springer leaves behind his only child, a daughter, Katie.
Jada Pinkett Smith Addresses Meta’s Decision to Cancel Her Show
Jada Pinkett Smith’s popular Facebook show, Red Table Talk, has been canceled. The news of the show’s cancellation comes after Meta made the decision to “pivot” away from original programming, CNN reports.
Pinkett Smith confirmed the news the show was canceled with a statement she shared on her Instagram page. “We are so grateful to have had such a beautiful partnership with Facebook Watch and we are sorry to see the entire team disbanded,” Pinkett Smith wrote. “We wish everyone well in their new journeys to come.”
Pinkett Smith concluded her statement by saying, despite the cancellation, she hopes this is not the end for her show. “We at Red Table are in talks of finding a new home and we’ll see you soon.”
Red Table Talk has been home to several truly profound conversations. Most notably, Pinkett Smith used the show to address her husband public Oscar’s altercation with Chris Rock, Hayden Panettiere opened up about her struggle with abuse and losing her child as a result, and Pinkett Smith’s round table was even used to address the cheating scandal between Jordyn Woods, Kylie Jenner’s ex-best friend, and Tristan Thompson, the father of Khloe Kardashian’s two children.
Red Table Talk also often featured Pinkett Smith’s daughter, Willow Smith, and her mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris. Will, her husband, would also make sporadic appearances.
In the episode in which she addressed the Oscar slap, Smith also used the show to address her ongoing battle with alopecia. Throughout the show’s run, viewers watched as Jada’s hairstyles changed, eventually with her rocking no hair at all.
She is addressed her battle with Alopecia, the slap heard around the world, and the state of her and Will Smith’s relationship in one of the most-watched episodes of her show. There have been rumors flying about how the two of them would deal with the aftermath of the slap, and now we know.
“This is a really important Red Table Talk on Alopecia,” Jada said at the top of the episode. The actress is seen sitting alone at the red table wearing a white turtleneck. It appears as though the segment was filmed separately from the rest of the episode.
“Considering what I have been through with my own health and what happened at the Oscars, thousands have reached out to me with their stories. I’m using this moment to give our alopecia family an opportunity to talk about what it is like to have this condition. And to inform people about what alopecia actually is,” Jada continued.
She then addressed Oscar Night. As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Jada accompanied Will Smith to the Oscars earlier this year.
Smith was nominated for an award for his role, playing Serena William’s father in King Richard. Smith ultimately won the Oscar but not before his actions shocked the world.
Shortly before accepting his award, Chris Rock appears on stage to present a different award. While on stage, Rock told a few jokes, one of them at the expense of Jada Pinkett Smith.
Chris addressed Jada before saying that he was looking forward to seeing her star in the as G.I. Jane. Rock was obviously making a dig at Jada’s shaved head, something she has been doing as a result of her struggle with Alopecia.
Jada, in the moment, seemed pained by the joke and Smith defended her by walking on stage and slapping Chris Rock in the face on live television. He then proceeded to yell at the comedian, telling him to “keep my wife’s name out of your f*cking mouth.”
“Now, about Oscar night,” Jada continued. “My deepest hope is that these two intelligent capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out, and reconcile. With the state of the world today, we need them both. And we all actually need one another more than ever.”
That’s when Jada addressed how she and Will are handling the aftermath of his outburst together. “Until then, Will and I are continuing to do what we have done for the last 28 years, and that’s figuring out this thing called life together. Thank you for listening.”
It is believed Smith is on a spiritual journey in an attempt to heal. Smith has since apologized publicly to Rock, but it remains unclear if the two have ever talked privately since the slap.
Rock is currently on tour, and while he hasn’t talked much about the slap, he has revealed that he is recovering and has got much of his hearing back.
As the episode of Red Table Talk continued, Jada offered time to other people who struggle with Alopecia, so that they can share their stories. As the episode began, Jada shared a story about a 12-year-old girl named Rio Allred.
Allred developed Alopecia during the pandemic. From 2020 to 2022, Allred lost most of her hair due to the autoimmune disorder and like Jada began to shave her head.
Prior to returning to in-school learning, Allred’s grandmother gifted the 12-year-old a wig. As Jada reported, Allred was so excited to show it off to her classmates.
Sadly, rather than being welcomed with open arms, Allred was bullied and ridiculed by her classmates. On March 14, 2022, Allred decided she had enough and at just 12 years old, she took her own life.

Bonnie explained that nearly everything in her home was destroyed. She also announced the devastating news that all of her pets had also parishes in the fire. Bonnie had a dog, three cats, a gecko, and a pet snake.
Her beloved pets’ causes of death was smoke inhalation.
However, Bonnie said she found comfort in the one thing that did survive the flames, her mother’s ashes. “I lost some of the photos of my mother and some of the belongings of hers, but I was able to salvage some of them. I was able to salvage the ashes I have of my mother’s and that was one of my main worries.”
Currently, the fire is still under investigation. But preliminary results show that the fire department believes that the fire was caused by an electrical issue.
Bonnie was distraught while explaining what had happened to TMZ. “When I arrived at the scene, the fire chief had initially told me they had found two cats and that they were looking for any other animals. And as they continued their search, they did indeed find all of my animals. They were all without injury, but they had all passed due to smoke inhalation.”
Bonnie continued saying she plans to honor her pets’ lives by commissioning a portrait of her beloved animals and creating rings with their ashes once they are cremated. “I’m gonna keep them with me at all times. They filled my life with so many memories.”
“My oldest cat, Plum, she was my mother’s favorite. They were both divas and I hope my mom is really happy to have Plum with her.” Bonnie says she will not be starting a GoFundMe at this time.
Country Music Star Announces Divorce and Pregnancy In Same Statement
Things seem to be getting messy for Country Music superstar Jimmie Allen and his estranged wife Alexis Gale.
According to reports, despite being pregnant with their third child, Allen and Gale have chosen to separate. Just four days ago, the couple took to their respective Instagram accounts to share the same statement.
“After much thought and reflection in recent months, Lex and I have made the decision to separate,” the statement began. Allen and Gale then shared another bit of news as well.
“As we navigate this life change, we can also share that we will be welcoming another child together later this year. Our number one priority is and always will be ensuring that our children are healthy, happy, and loved, and we remain committed to co-parenting with love and respect for one another. In light of our growing family, we respectfully request privacy during this time.”
Both Gale and Allen turned their comments off their posts.
While neither parent has spoken publicly about their impending divorce since Alexis took to her Instagram Story to share a cryptic message before unfollowing her estranged husband on Instagram.
“The silence is loud enough for me,” she wrote.
The news of their pregnancy comes as a surprise for some of their fans as Jimmie revealed last year that he and Alexis don’t plan on growing their family anymore. “We threw around the idea of maybe having another one in like four years, we thought about it, we tossed around the idea. And then we closed the idea,” he told ET, adding that they feel “outnumbered.”
Jimmie’s oldest son from a previous relationship makes the country singer a soon-to-be father of four. Currently, Jimmie and Alexis share two daughters, 3-year-old Bettie and 17-month-old Zara.
Jimmie and Alexis first met in 2019. They were first introduced to each other through the singer’s cousin. Alexis was preparing to graduate from nursing school at the time.
In an interview with People about the first time they met, Alexis said, Allen “took the time, right before he went on tour, to study with me even though he had no idea what he was doing. And it made me realize — this is someone who really cares about me, who cares about my future even though he’s still working on his.”
From there, their romance was a bit of a whirlwind. “It just happened so fast and we just went full-in, all emotions. I have so much love for him, so much respect. I admire who he is to me and to everybody around him.”
