Caan was a regular on Twitter. He often ended his written tweets with the phrase, “End of tweet.” And that is exactly how his family ended their statement on Twitter.
Caan often used his Twitter to be nostalgic, sharing photos of his past work and favorite hobbies. “The Godfather, Misery, Thief, Brian’s Song, Rollerball, Hide in Plain Sight, The Gambler, El Dorado, Funny Lady, Elf,” his bio read.
He also shared photos of him and his family back in the day. “My sis & me. End of tweet,” he captioned the photo below.
Shortly after Caan’s passing, his longtime friend Sylvester Stallone called him “one of a kind!” As his tribute continued, Stallone wrote that he “will miss my good friend and great actor, James Caan! Tough, Smart, a man’s man. One of a kind!”
