Jimmie Allen and his wife, Alexis Gale, welcomed their third child together (his fourth total) on Sept. 27. The 27-year-old mother took to Instagram on Monday (Oct. 2) to show off their little boy, who they named Cohen Ace James, and shared photos of him meeting his two older sisters – Naomi, 3, and Zara, 1.
The new baby comes at a vulnerable time for both Alexis and Jimmie, but they’ve decided to give their marriage another shot. The couple initially filed for divorce on April 28 (several hours apart from one another), but a rep for Allen tells PEOPLE magazine that the couple ‘decided to work on things together.’
The rep added that the divorce ‘was never fully seen through legally’ and the birth of their first son is breathing new life into a relationship that was nearing an end just five months ago. It’s a small silver lining to what has been a very tumultuous year for Jimmie Allen – and he still has so much on his legal plate.

For those who have been living under a rock the past few months, Jimmie Allen has been accused of sexual assault by two women this year – his former manager came forward in May and a second accuser came forward in June. A countersuit by Allen was filed in July, but things have been in limbo ever since.
The first accuser, who is being referred to as Jane Doe, accused Jimmie of raping her and sexually abusing her repeatedly over an 18-month period. She says he groped her breasts, pushed his erect penis against her in public, masturbated in front of her at a hotel, and forced his fingers in her vagina in 2021.
The second accuser, referred to as Jane Doe 2, said she agreed to have sex with Allen on 3 conditions – he and his wife were split, he wore a condom, and he didn’t videotape the sexual encounter. He went against all three of those promises and continued to have sex with her after she revoked her consent.
Of course, Jimmie Allen has maintained his innocence ever since the allegations were made. While he did admit to having consensual sexual relationships with women outside of his marriage, he refutes any allegation or accusation of sexual abuse, rape, and assault.
Jimmie Allen Files Counterclaims Against Both Accusers
In July, Jimmy Allen decided to take legal action against both of his accusers – not only in an effort to clear his name of any wrongdoing, but to ‘protect my reputation and refute these claims that have caused severe damage to my family, mental health and business,’ according to a statement released at the time.
He went on to explain why it took him several months to respond to the claims made in May and June – citing a need to ‘fix my family first.’ He said the incident caused him ‘great humiliation’ and he felt it was time to ‘seek professional help,’ but wanted to take some time to ensure his family was taken care of first.
“As the legal process runs its course, I look forward to the opportunity to clear my name,” he shared in the statement, which was released in July. “I am forever thankful for those who have stood by me and helped me share the truth. My team and I look forward to putting this behind us and getting back to the music.”
