Fans of the hit reality TV show Counting On got their own dose of reality when Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth debuted a new haircut on Instagram. Yes, Joy-Anna is trying something different with a new hairstyle and fans are loving it.
Joy-Anna asked the age-old question, “Should I get bangs?” And the Lord answered, “Yes, queen! Get some bangs!”

Earlier this week, 22-year-old Joy-Anna posted a photo on her Instagram account with a striking new hairstyle.
Considering that most of the posts on the joint Instagram are of Joy-Anna and Austin hunting, it was a rare departure to see her showing off a brand new look! Doesn’t she look stunning?
Fans were quick to ask if she’d had her hair dyed too because, in the pic, it does appear darker. In the comments, Joy-Anna explained that she’d never dyed her hair.
Everyone had something to say about Joy’s new look including friends and family.
One of the very first people to comment on the post was Marjorie Jackson, Josiah Duggar’s ex-girlfriend. Joy and Marjorie are still friends even though they didn’t end up as family. As you can see from her all-caps comment, Marjorie is a fan, “I LOVE YOUR HAIR JOY!!!!” she posted.
As you can see, other family and friends left positive feedback as well. Including a sweet one from sister-in-law Anna Duggar!

Although she’s been through a lot. Joy-Anna still manages to support her family. She even released a statement earlier this month about the upcoming births of four new nieces.
The statement says, in part, “We want others to know that the loss we feel does not negate the true joy and expectation we feel as we await the arrival of sisters’ and friends’ babies. There are lots of little nieces on the way, and we couldn’t be more excited!”
Joy-Anna is a real class act and we’re so excited that she got to treat herself, and her fans, to a beautiful new look.
At times, a change can do the most good. We truly hope that Joy-Anna and Austin are finding happiness and comfort with each other. If the Instagram post is any indication, we know that she’s feeling as great as she looks.
