Joy-Anna Duggar Reveals She and Husband Had Covid-19

Joy-Anna Duggar gave birth to her daughter Evelyn in August and recently shared that she had Covid-19 while pregnant.

The reality TV star was doing an Instagram Live Q&A when a fan asked if she had ever had the virus.

Duggar replied that she and her husband Austin Forsyth both tested positive for Covid-10 last year when she was pregnant.

“I was still pregnant with Evelyn,” she told fans. “We both had body aches, a slight fever and lost our taste and smell. Thankfully, we recovered quickly.”

The Duggars have received criticism over their handling of the pandemic. The family has often gotten together, including a large gathering over Christmas.

This isn’t the first time Joy-Anna has faced backlash online this year. Earlier this month, the busy mom posted a photo of a messy pantry that her son Gideon, 2, had gotten into.

“From the evidence left behind and only one toddler in the house,” she captioned the post. “We came to the conclusion that Gideon was the culprit. It helped that he was covered with sugar and coffee grounds (and left his bike).”

While most parents can relate to a messy pantry/house/etc., some fans went after Duggar for not keeping a better eye on her son.

“Why wasn’t he being watched by someone,” asked one follower. While another questioned if she “even watched him.”

Joy-Anna Duggar and her family have already faced quite a bit of criticism this year – and it’s only the middle of the month!
