Baby Blaze was born via surrogate, and her parents are absolutely in love.
Kandi Burruss welcomed a baby girl via surrogate shortly after revealing that surrogate was initially carrying twins.
The exciting news comes after Kandi opened up about her heartbreak on the reality show. The couple’s surrogate was initially pregnant with twins, but one of the embryos did not carry to term.

“We actually were supposed to be having twins, and then one of them didn’t continue. I was sad at first, but then I just had to be grateful that the one made it,” Kandi said on Atlanta.

The reality star has been candid about being diagnosed with uterine fibroids and undergoing IVF to conceive her son Ace. She struggled with the decision to use a surrogate.

“To allow somebody to carry my child inside of them? It was a tough decision to make,” the mom shared.

“I just feel like this whole situation is strange,” Kandi said before her baby girl arrived. “I don’t get to be excited about the first kick. I don’t get to be excited about, ‘Oh now my baby bump is showing.’ I don’t get to be excited even about my boobs filling up with milk.”

“You have this guilt [and] sadness. So it’s a joyous, yet interesting experience,” she added.
While the pregnancy was full of emotional ups and downs, the couple can’t stop gushing about beautiful Blaze.
